Is it okay to have bleeding hemmerhoids?

After giving birth to my son I have been plagued by these, they are internal and bleed every time, they cause some pain but are tolerable, I just want to make sure it won't cause worse problems. I had mentioned it to my ob at my 6 week check up she didn't think it was a big deal, my son is 7 months old now.

I've always been told that its bad to have them bleeding. I would make another appt with your doc.

Get a second opinion, but don't be concerned yet, your ob is a professional and hopefully a good one.

Unfortunately It is one of those awful things that some moms get to deal with even after they have done the labor!

My friend got them and had them for months after. Her doctor didnt seem worried either. she did you use medicine for them. and eventually they went away. I would say though that if they continue to cause you discomfort to call in and at least ask.

You shouldnt have to deal with them that long!
