  1. Sure.  We learn all the time.  We can't just say " we won't learn for the next few hours" because we might accidentally turn on the tv and learn something, or talk to our neighbors and learn something, or accidentally read instructions  for something.  Learning is an ongoing process.  It is a lifelong process.

  2. Some schools or school districts do allow homeschooled students to attend part-time for classes. If this is something you are interested in, talk to the school in question.

  3. that's a whole lotta' school !

  4. Yes, It Never Hurt To Know Alot And Teachers And Parents/Tutors Probably Teach Different Things. It Sounds Cool.

  5. When we withdrew from public school, our son was invited to continue to participate in the gifted program.

    We declined.

So... as others have said, there are circumstances where it is allowed.

  6. Sure, it's call dual enrollment, and many kids do it.

  7. Homeschooling while going to public school is called "after schooling."

You are basically supplementing your public school studies by studying extra materials at home.

  8. I don't know about where you are but in Kentucky it is either home school or public school!!!  You can't do both.  Although even if you are home schooled you may participate in sports and activities in the school district where I live.
