  1. Campbells russian hamster are sociable with their own kind so you can keep three of the same s*x together if they were together at the pet store.  You will need a bigger cage than fir just two though.

  2. I wouldnt hamsters have a tendancy of fighting and with three or two they will most likely fight and it will turn fatal

  3. It should be fine. Make sure you are keeping the cage clean and you might need more than one food bowl. I have a cage with 5 campbell's dwarfs in it and they are fine(1 mother and her 4 adult daughters). Keep in mind that more hamsters means bigger cage or more than one cage connected with tubes. Also you will hear a lot of squeaking sometimes and you may see one hamster jump onto another, as long as they aren't biting hard enough to break the skin this is fine. They won't be equals in a group, one hamster will be dominant over the others. You will notice them sniffing and they may even "sniff aggressively" to the point that one hamster is on its back with another on top sniffing it. This is all normal behavior. I have never heard of dwarfs fighting to the point of death, but if they are causing serious injuries they should be separated.

  4. yes, it i ok... keep in mind there is NO 100% guarentee that any number of dwarves pst one wont fight... this is why it is advised to have an extra cage, food bowl, water bottle, and wheel on-hand for each dwarf past one =]
