Is it okay to leave (2 liter) soft drinks out in the room after opening them?

Our fridge is packed full of... well, c**p right now lol. We have a lot of soft drinks and they are taking up space right now in the fridge, so...

I know that you shouldn't leave some juices and other drinks out after you open them, but what about soft drinks? Such as 2 liter ones?

Also, if it's okay to leave them out, will it make them flatten (lose their taste or fizzyness) quicker? or at about the same rate (or even less?) than refrigerating them?

Thanks.

  1. leaving it out is fine.  the only thing that makes it go flat and lose it's fizz is when you open it alot.

  2. its going to get flat quick

  3. You can leave them out, but it will go flat faster.

Open the bottle a little, squeeze out as much air as possible, tighten lid back on.  That will help in or out of the fridge.  Looks funny, but.....

  4. Should be fine,,,but make sure it isnt in the sun or heats up!!  Of course you have heard by now the chemicals that are in plastic bottles.
