Is it okay to let Obama win just to keep the peace?

After watching the Democratic Convention and seeing so many people in tears, I am really worried that there will be just such sadness in America if Obama looses that we will truely become a disfunctional nation. The president really doesn't have nearly the amount of power that every here seems to think he has.

I am at the point of just saying "whatever, it doesn't matter that much. Just let him win and serve at least four years."

Is this really wrong?

Peace?  How would their be peace among the corrupted?  Obama will make this country dysfunctional.

Obama is like listening to a drunk saying he's not going to have any more.  He has no idea what he's saying.  Doesn't care to know what he's saying.  His koolaid followers are like him.  It all sound good for the moment.  So when did lip service become proof for corrupted and dysfunctional to do something for this nation other than to try to make it corrupted and dysfunctional?

Obama can't even unite his own party.  How is he going to unite this country?

As someone who will vote for Obama, the answer is NO you should never vote for Obama to keep the peace. If you are going to vote, then it should be for the person that you most believe in and will represent this country to the best of their ability. I am voting for him because I believe their is something special about him and his passion to change things for the better is nice to see. I would never vote for him for no reason and he wouldn't want your vote in this manner either. If you prefer McCain then so be it and vote for him.

NO its not right. Its like saying we should have let Hitler alone because the n**i's liked him. You cannot condone corruption just to make a few people happy. Otherwise we should have elected Hillary to make the womens libbers happy, we cannot do what is wrong to make the sinners happy, legalizing drugs to make the dopers happy, legalize prostitution to make the whores and whoremongers happy, legalize g*y marriages to make g**s happy.
