Is it okay to make pancakes with pre-mixed batter?

my mom left me some mixed pancake batter in the fridge for me to make some pancakes. it looks kinda gray and there is a small chunk of a harden piece on the side. it wasnt coved with plastic wrap or in a tupperwear it was on a bowl. i wanna throw it out but i dont wanna hurt her feelings.

just use it. dont mix in the hard stuff use a spoon and take it out. Do NOT mix it, it makes it not good weather it was covered or not you just never over mix pancake mix. It cant hurt you at all. Eat up! :)

If it's been in the fridge for more than four hours since she made it, I wouldn't use it.

No.  Pancake batter should be used as soon as it's made, sometimes when I'm making a large amount of pancakes,which takes some time and by the time I'm done my last ones aren't nearly as fluffy as the one's I made at the start.  It won't make you sick if it's been refridgerated they just won't be as could as they are supposed to be.

The grey is oxidatation from the air.........like when an apple turns brown

It should be fine if it is under a day old after that I would throw it away because the pancakes will come out flat not fluffy.

Remove harden pieces and add some milk, it should take the gray tint away, give it a try they should be okay if it has only been there overnight.

Firstly, beat the mixture and see if it goes back to its proper colour.  The ingredients separate as they stand in the fridge which is the cause of the change in colour.  Secondly, smell the mixture!  If it is not fresh, you will soon know!

Just mix it up some, add a little milk. It's fine, it's not going to make you sick

ya ive done it plenty of times it should definitely work unless that mix is old or something then don't use it!
