Is it okay to pack and dispose of rubbish in plastic bags in Coolangatta, Gold Coast, Australia?

Going to stay in an apartment and need to know whether plastic bags allowed to dispose rubbish.

If you put it appropriately in the rubbish bin you will never have any problems.

Anyway, we get asked to put it into bags here and it's easier just to do it!

as long as you put it into a garbage bin when the bag has all of the rubbish in, thats fine.
