  1. no!

  2. no it is not

  3. NO and a big time fine if you get caught

  4. It is legal to pass on the right when there are two or more lanes going in the same direction, separated by broken white lines. The solid white line on the right edge of the roadway is to separate the "shoulder" which is for stopping in an emergency, when pulled over by the police, or any other emergency situation. It is illegal to pass on the right side of a solid white line (on the shoulder). A solid white line also tells a driver that he/she is on the right side of the road. A solid yellow line runs along the left edge of the roadway of a divided roadway, or down the center of a two way roadway.

This allows you to know where you are at night, in the fog, or in a whiteout conditions.

  5. Noooooooooo it is completely illegal to do this in all states and you can and will get multiple tickets for doing this.................

  6. No it is not legal to to pass on the right side.  Only vehicles allowed to do so are emergency vehicles.

  7. NOPE---and your don't ever want to get caught doing it--it is big money and big points. The reason for the harsh penalty is the amount of injury and death from such a manuver. Stay in line and drive nice.pass when you can legally pass ON THE LEFT

  8. is this white line a sealed road border?  If so, someone is driving off the sealed surface to overtake on the right.  legal only if a single lane road AND the other car is turning Left.   Not necessarily a safe proceedure, partic. at speed.
