Flickering.

Almost at the point of convergence

Mental pixels coalesce

Into the dawning of a dead day.

Was there any other way?

Maybe once, but twice forgotten

As fervent dreams had turned to rotten

Now faded like the waning hours

The tempest crests as life devours

Here scalded scolded remnants loom

Evicted guest without a room

Within his house of golden gone--

A shadow left to mourn the dawn.
