  1. You might not, but you wouldn't want to risk it.  I would stretch wait a few days if its really bad and stretch it a tiny bit at a time to be cautious.Otherwise ask your coach or parents.

  2. warm up is important...if the pain persists, tone it down till it stops.

  3. No, not really. I would stretch it before AND most importantly after you run. That should start helping.

  4. If you properly care for it, you would be fine. It just takes extra time to get yourself ready to roll.

  5. yea juest rest and den it will go away

  6. No trust me I tried running in a meet on a tight muscle and i ended up straining my hamstring.  Now I'm out for the whole season.  But keep it elevated, stretch it out and use plently of ice

  7. You could re-injure it, its recommended that you give it a few rest before putting strain on it

  8. Do NOT Run on an already tight muscle (the fact that it is still tight means that you have NOT fully recovered from the injury) & it is trying to tell you something (it is saying "hey i need to rest or i'm going to tear apart"), so rub on some of that hot "ice" for injuries & wrap or wear something tight around it. after you are sure you're healed, then always remember to stretch & do warm-up before, then stretch/cool down after. Because if you tear it again, you'll be out for more than one race & could cause a chronic problem (sry but it can take a very long time for those things to heal).
