Is it ok to shower when the water is contaminated?

Like a pipe broke in our area and now the water is contaminated...

i wouldn't it might get on your mouth and you probly wouldn't be that clean

No.  Unless you want your skin to  turn green.  It's  not a good idea at all.  You will get sick or even die of bacteria contamination.

i think its safer to avoid showering if the water is possibly contaminated..

maybe you can find some other place to shower? or you can try to find some way to clean yourself ^^;

yes, just be careful not swallow any of it.  it also depends on the type of contamination.  sewage contamination - i would say no to the shower.  boil water and take a sponge bath

i wouldn't.. rather safe than sorry.

maybe try calling your neighbors and see what they are doing.

and see about getting that pipe fixed.

I wouldn't shower in anything I couldn't safely drink...boil it first and take a spunge bath if you need to clean up, that's how they did it before indoor plumbing.
