I got a good sunburn yesterday at the pool, but I want to be SUPER tan, so I was wondering if it is okay to tan when your already sunburned?

Will it make my sunburn worse? How worse? It's a really good day to tan and I'm sad when I look outside and think I could be tanning.

If I do this will I get extra tan?

  1. Ummmmm are you like 10 years old?

A sunburn is a burn and most often must heal before you can even think the tan will hit the skin.

Good gravy- use your head girl.

  2. Nonononono... You need to let your skin HEAL. You can't just tan over burned skin. It won't do any good. Keep your skin as moisturized as possible with aloe and lotions and wait 4-5 days until the redness is completely gone. And from now on to make things easier on yourself, don't stay out so long and wear a low spf sunscreen so you won't get burned or it will take forever to get a tan.

  3. no it is not okay that will make your sunburn hurt extremly bad and you could get serious skin conditions
