  1. I was in Cabo last July with my mom - and it was hot!  I prefer cooling off in the ocean rather than a pool - and you really don't have that opportunity in Cabo - the majority of the beaches are not swimable. Of course - that water is pretty chilly year round, so you may not want to get in it.

I was glad that I had the opportunity to see Cabo, but it isn't somewhere I am dying to return to. I have been to a number of Mexico destinations and I tend to prefer the Mayan Riviera the most.

    Congrats on the engagement!

  2. I'm sorry, but I disagree with the answerer above. As far as the West coast of Mexico goes, Cabo's beaches are far more swim-worthy than, say, Mazatlan or Puerto Vallarta. The water where I went was calmer and less choppy because the Sea of Cortez is protected from the ocean. It is hot, of course. It's friggin' Mexico in the summer time. If you are not going there via cruise ship, then try to go when the cruise ships are not in town. I have a question about this out on Yahoo Answers right now; you can find it here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...

  3. From what I have learned researching our upcoming honeymoon to Cabo, I would expect it to be close to 100 degrees without much rain on most days in July.

In general, this is a good site to see how the weather has historically been for specific dates at any location: http://www.wunderground.com/tripplanner/...

  4. Hola!  Oh yes, we have become the new honeymoon mecca in Mexico that's for sure.

Okay to travel? Sure!  Why not?   July is one of our hottests months down here.  We are very hot and humid, plus you will experience the occasional thunderstorm, (and/or hurricane)   No different from Cancun in that aspect.

We have lots of resorts that cater to couples and so much to do and see, it is a great place to visit!
