Is it okay to use a few different foundations in a week?

I have several different foundations, all of which are liquid and I love all of them. I have the Revlon ColorStay, Rimmel Lasting Finish Mineral-enhanced liquid makeup, Revlon Beyond Natural skin-matching makeup, and Maybelline Mineral Power liquid makeup.

I love using every one of these and generally will use whichever I feel like that day...my skin is very acne prone, very oily, is this going to affect my skin? Should I just pick one and stick with it?

  1. I would say as long as you wash your skin every night with a product line designed for acne prone skin you wouldn't have many problems with the mineral based foundations as they are light. Changing too frequently may irritate your skin, so test them first and the ones that don't irritate or flare up your skin are okay to rotate but daily wouldn't be a good idea.

  2. I think you should probably just pick one and stick with it.  Switching can cause your skin to become very irritated and probably break out.  I mean its ok to switch every once in a while but I wouldn't say every day.

  3. It's going to be alright, because all the above products generally have the same base except for your minerals. A base of mineral oil. "the minerals probably contain bismuth or talc. which are fillers & can irritate your skin like the mineral oil does.

Switch to a real Good natural make up , like smokymountainminerals.com or avon.com & use it & see if your complexion will clear up.

You need a good skin care regimine by the way to start with.

    Good luck.

  4. I think it's okay. If it hasn't affected your skin so far, then it would seem that your skin is fine with using different products.
