Is it okay to use a hot oil treatment on color treated hair?

Ever since i dyed my hair black, i havent done a hot oil treatment.

But now i wanna do one, I bought the v05 one and i wann know is it going to strip the color from my hair or make the color wash out??/

Hot oil treatments do tend to strip color because a lot of oils are acidic.  I would absolutely recommend against that.  Get a good reconstructor instead.  Try the K-Pak deep pentrating reconstuctor by Joico...that is amazing.
