like using football cleats to play rugby with since football and rugby both have their own type of cleats. so is it okay to use football cleats to play rugby?

  1. No. The toe spike in Football Cleats are illegal in Rugby. It also depends on the postion your playing, forwards need more ankle support due scrummaging etc. Check out worldrugby.com.


  2. you can use them to start out but you have to cut off the toe cleat...depending on where you play you might be able to continue wearing them. But if you are in the scrum you would need to buy you a pair of rugby boots. Best places are Godek Rugby and rugby imports.
