Is it okay to wash an IKEA Quilt with a washing machine?

if it's man made inner then it should be ok  but it will also depend how large the drum of your machine is .......................it's often easier to do at the laundrette or at a laundry service ..................a single quilt will usually fit  a home machine

you should read the instruction , if you are worried do send it for a dry clean it is better anyway.

Look on the tag, it will have washing instructions, they all do these days.

There should be a care tag somewhere on it.

No it shouldn't but just to be sure search for a care tag on the quilt. It will have instructions on how to manage and look out for your quilt or for any possession that you buy look at the care tag. The washing guidelines are something that is more of a suggestion. A lot of people don't read them and take the chance of ruining their item.
