Is it okay to watch tv in the dark?

I've heard nothing bad about watching tv in the dark. I do it all the time and there's nothing wrong with me. Yet :) But if you're concerned about your eye sight, I really don't know much about it. I have perfect vision and I do it, so all should be good.

Well that's ok unless you back away from the tv and don't watch to to close.
