I'm 13 and I got contacts a few months ago, and I've been VERY VERY careful to follow all of the rules, in an almost crazy-obsessive way (haha). I'm supposed to change my contacts after a month, but since I accidentally changed two weeks early last time (don't ask), is it okay to stretch the rules a little?

  1. i dont think so cuz you should get rid of protien by cleaning them with special solution or it depends on lences type .. eg,daily lences last for a day if u exceed the limit u feel uncomfortable and irritate  .. i would recommend to follow the rules better than damage you lovely eyes ther are gift from GOD ..

    take care

  2. Monthly disposables are usually still safe to wear for 5 to 6 weeks...once in awhile.

But at the first signs of discomfort , ditch them.

6  weeks is the max though for optimal health.

  3. Yes dont worry about it. I wear my pair of contacts for 2 months or even three they still work fine. You can wear contacts for a long period of time they just tell u to change them often because they have to make money somehow .. Same with the stupid visits. You have to go to the doctor every year so he can make money. I go to the eye doctor every year for 10 years now and they always give me the same perscription. U will know when to change them you can feel it.
