Everyone is always going on about making sure you remove your make up properly, and how if you wear lots of make up when your young, it'll make you look older when your elderly

But is it only foundation that does this?

Will wearing eye make up age my skin? Or blush, or lipstick?

  1. well, foundation can be ok, along with everything else, just moisturize and you'll be ok!

  2. Things that contribute to aging skin:

    genetics

    the sun (always use SPF of 30 or higher everyday)

    improper diet(processed/fast food)

    smoking

    certain drugs- prescription and non-prescription

    lack of exercise

    improper cleansing( not washing the makeup off)

    using irritating skin care products

  3. I Used To Sleep With My Eye Make-up On

    And My Eyes Started To Go Red And Sting Sometimes.

    I got Told That's Why It Happened But Not Entirely Sure

    But I Make Sure I Never Sleep With My Foundation On As It Gives Me Spots

  4. A long time ago makeup used to contain ingredients like lead and other scary things that we would never put on our face today that would damage the skin. Now with all of the natural, hypo-allergenic and mineral makeups I don't think you have to worry very much about it. And anyway now we have all of these face scrubs and laser procedures that will be even less evasive than now if you were worried about it at that age.
