There may be odd bits of them in sausages, but I don't think they use them in sasage

depends on the manufacturer, some people still use quality meat, but lets not forget that all of the about things are edible, and we should use as much of the pig as possible.

Yup, ear holes, eye holes and *** holes as the saying goes. They use all the bits that can't be used for anything else. Yummy.

like laura said, the better quality the sausage the less you'll find"other" parts of the pig in sausage.  I daresay most grocery store brands use any thing other than cuts of pork.  And you would have to look far and wide to find a sausage manufacturer that still uses intestines for casing, definately not any sausage in the grocery store.

yep, its all mixed up with breadcrumbs and herbs and its delicious! who cares what it is if it tastes so good! At least nothing has gone to waste!

It depends what sort of sausage you eat and who makes them. Some sausages are full of rubbish that isn't used in anything else, others are excellent quality made with only the finest of meat.

Sausages are usually made of pork belly.  The skins used to be made of lambs intestines but these days they are usually made artificially from gelatine and vegetable protein.  Although I dread to think what's in Tesco Value sausages.
