Not like chewing gum or anything....

Like if you were sitting at your desk eating a sandwich then got up to do something while chewing.

  1. It's ok, although always considered best to remain seated...unless you're at a coctail party or something along that line where most people are standing anyway.  Still, if standing, it is best not to walk while chewing.  Like in the old days when everybody smoked, it was never considered good manners for a lady to smoke and walk.  She had to be seated (preferably) or standing...not walking.  Don't know the evolution of this, though.

  2. why not? its not like you are showing the mashed up food in your mouth to anyone compared to talking with your mouth full.

anyways it would look kinda weird if you were just sitting and chewing as if you had nothing to do but eat and then all of a sudden when you were done chewing you'd get up to do something.

  3. I don't see anything wrong with it,but uptight people would judge you for it.I would rather be a real person than worry about what others think of me when I am working and hungry! :) As long as you don't talk to others with a mouthful of food..

  4. i don't see anything wrong with that but if your grand mother dosn't like it then don't do it around her
