no goldfish are cold water fish tropical fish are warm bearers

you really REALLY should not do that. goldfish have different needs than tropical fish other than just temperature. goldfish can also grown very large. make sure you have enough room for the size that the goldfish can grow to.

basically you need to pick either goldfish or tropical. you can't have both.

sure. My goldfish lived with other fish (inculding a bata..which was odd) but the goldfish did kill one of the fish.. but that was because it was introduced when the goldfish was older.

goldfish let off ammonia that would kill the tropical fish,

therefore size is completely insignificant.
