  1. No. Most right wingers have always been against rights for those other than themselves.

  2. No because none of us can agree with each other

there will always be disagreements and different opinions through out

  3. No, not with 2 ideological parties

  4. Absolutely not. No one can please everyone, let alone a large percentage of everyone.

No one can be an ever man's man.

  5. When you wish upon a star,

Makes no difference who you are.

Anything your heart desires will come to you, ...........

  6. no, not really. as long as people are race conscience then we will have problems. I'm from Canada and we have the same problem up here, ours is with English vs French.

  7. I think not..Would be nice..but no.

  8. nope...because unless they have a (D) after their name.....

the media is goign to walk all over them..and brainwash people along the way

  9. Not a chance and especially not in the US.

  10. Yes.  We all rallied behind Bush after 9/11.  We all wanted to go in Afghanistan and Iraq and don't say we didn't.

  11. Yes, but that person would have to be truly qualified to lead the country. Unfortunately, the real intelligent leaders will not touch the presidency with a ten foot pole.

Think about Colin Powell and go from there...

  12. We did, but Bush blew it. Tragically.

  13. Nope.

    Never gonna happen.

  14. Yes

    President Giuliani

Now that the Liberal God Giuliani has Hijack the Republican Party....  the US will once again be United

  15. it's not possible in this day of corporate owned media.. because some americans still belive the garbage they are fed.  divide and conquor.. is still a valid tactic.. and it's used by the havs to keep the wealth in this country to themselves.  even to expand that wealth.. dispite the fact it means loss of jobs and no health care to millions of americans.

1% of the people in this country.. have more money than 140 million of the lowest income people here..

now imagine if you cut the top 1% rich peoples.. income by half.. you could double the income of 140 million americans..

and those rich people.. would still not feel the pain of 5$ gallon gas.. theyd' still have more money than they need or can spend.  even the poorest rich person (5 million by mcains standard) would still make 2.5 million in a year..  .. and this would allow some poor guy working full time minimum wage for 20k a year to make 40 k a  year...

HUGE difference to the poor guy.. the rich guy wouldnt even notice..

well hemight have to give up 1 house or something out of the 7 he owns.

but those 140 million americans would double their income.. they WOULD feel some relief at the cost of living.. health care.. gasoline.. food etc...

that's how obsurd our system is.. that's why the taxes need to be adjusted.. so the rich can still be rich.. but the working class people can still make a decent living wage.

  16. No way, no how. Consensus building and compromise are required for our big, old, democratic experiment.

  17. At one time Bush SR had 90% approval rating, but then the Liberals jacked him with knives for their own political agenda.

  18. No, it's really sad, but when the Conservatives try to jam their beliefs into our lives, yet, they don't even live up to their own beliefs... it just becomes an impossible situation.

The "Do as I say and not as I do" mentality from the conservatives just don't cut it with Americans.

  19. If we were to sustain an enormous catastrophe that we perceived to threaten our very existence we might rally behind a single leader. It seems a slim possibility. We live in a system that thrives on dividing us. Divisiveness has become the hallmark of American politics.

  20. No. People are going to nitpick at every little thing they can find, both dems and repubs.

  21. No.

You give to one "thing", you must take from another. There is not an infinite amount of "thing". The requirements of the "unfortunate" regardless of how they ended up in there situation far outweigh the amount of all "thing". It especially outweighs they total amount of "thing" possessed by the "fortunate".

Entropy is ever increasing in all systems. Therefore, to decrease the entropy for one group, will be increasing the entropy for another, thus increasing the entropy of the over all system.

At least that's my theory. Somebody else probably thought about it and published it first.. but I think for myself, and I'm too lazy to read.

    Edit:

    Stump,

You are a communist. You asume wealth is "distributed" in this country. It is not, it is earned by people who deserve it. In addition, the act of redistributing the wealth in the manner in which you say (your statistics are also made up BTW, but I'll ignore that) would cause a majority of wealth to be lost in the system for redistribution, ie the government in this case. You assume that an equal amount of money that enters the system will reach the end destination. This is not possible in any system, especially the government.

  22. Yes we will see that after Jan 20 once Obama takes office. We havent for the last 8 years because each time we feel stonger we get a terror tactic thrown at us from the government.

Im tired of the media showing Bin Laden's face on tv I want to see someone thats doing good for the US, dont you.?

  23. If the country could not come together when Regan was President, then there is no hope that they will ever come together, particularly if the best the Democrats have to offer is a Muslim.

  24. dunno

  25. I think Arnold could do it but its not possible.

I guess it is like sports if one gets in office and they do a good job, then we will.

I dont truist any of them until they provew it to me.
