Is it possible, to have sky digital in a non UK country, and keep my box in the UK?

I am living Switzerland and want to keep sky in my UK house, however I know it is somehow possible to access sky in another country, but can I do both...?

  1. You will need a sererate account and sky box to take with you. You cannot use multi room without paying for 2 subscriptions as you need both boxes connected to the same phone line. You would also need a dish in Switz pointing at 28.2E. In Switzerland i recommend to try a 1.3m satellite dish, which should provide good reception of most Astra 28.2E channels.The power supply's are the same, not sure about your tv working without using scart leads though as we have pal-i here and swis have pal-b/g, so your sound will be messed up.

  2. i dont think its possible. The box would have 2 be connected to your tv. But thats not possible if theyre in different countries. Have you thought about getting sky in switzerland with a whole new subscription?
