Is it possible for a Canadian to get on the Disney Channel (US)?

Hi, I am Canadian, and we do not have the Disney Channel, we have the Family Channel. I want to be an actress on the Disney Channel, not the Family Channel. I understand that the chances of being on any of those channels are extremely slim, but I am curious if Canadians can get on the US Disney Channel?

In theory, yes, a Canadian could get cast in a show on the Disney Channel. But they'd also have to be in LA with an extremely well-connected agent to get an audition in the first place. Also, they'd have to have a considerable professional resume before Disney would seriously consider them for anything. Disney doesn't just have open auditions for their TV shows that anyone off the street can go on, they have professional closed auditions for people who are already in the business.

Yes. All English Speaking people can audition for Disney Channel US

You don't have to live in LA to go audition, you just have to fly there for auditions if you don't.

Jasmine Richards lives in Canada and she was in Camp Rock.

With experience and training, you will succeed.

I recommend getting an agent and telling them that you really would love to be on Disney Channel US

I do not think that you have to be from the U.S. to audition for Disney, but I am not sure.  What I do know is that "Life with Derek" is shown on Disney channel and that is Canadian.  I would say go for it.  I do not see why people out of LA or the U.S. couldn't audition!  Good Luck!!

If you dug deep, there you would find lunies on the tv.  I thought the jonus brothers were canadian.

Considering the Canadian dollar is more valuable than the US dollar, you'd think yer time would have come.
