  1. yes as long as you got the right papers and qualifications.

  2. No Filipino has ever gotten a Law degree in the US.  Never, not a one, don't even try looking for one.

  3. all u have to do is get a visa and goto school

  4. yes as long as you finish studying in US and pass their exams there...good luck!

  5. Get the visa 1st.

  6. sure if you get a student visa and go to university

  7. Yes.  To be admitted to law school, you will have to have an undergraduate degree and take the LSAT, a standardized test for law schools.  Law is a graduate program in the US, unlike in many other countries, but you don't have to get your undergraduate degree in the US to go to law school here.

The bigger question is what you would do with a US law degree.  If you want a degree that will be useful in the Philippines, you may want to get a LLM instead of a JD, which is a masters.  You can't practice law in the U.S. with it (although you can work for some US law firms).  It is a 2 year program instead of a 3 year program.  If you want to move to the US permanently, I have no idea how immigration works on that.  I do know that you are entitled to take the bar and be licensed as a lawyer in the US if you are not a citizen.

You need to do lots of research into your desired field and the  legal market you want to work on before you'll know what you need to do to get there, but you can certainly get a US law degree.

  8. why not. filipinos are great

  9. sure we can always use another lawyer.

  10. Yes it is possible for any nationality to apply to the USA for law or in any other country:)...try Canada too!:)
