  1. Yeah, Ain't it Great!

Remember Nixon's VP - Spiro Agnew - prison time for him! LOL

And illegal wire tapping is a FELONY - and 30 of them is 30 FELONIES - not to mention war crimes - or crimes violating international law - or crimes against humanity - harboring a traitor during a time of war who outed a CIA agent - the list, like the beat, goes on. When you go 'Power Drunk' - sometimes you gotta pay - like the rest of us. Elistist Bas%$rd!

  2. Yes, Nixon required a pardon from Ford to avoid criminal prosecution.

  3. No USA president spent any time in Jail.

  4. Yes, unless pardoned by the President, they are not immune from prosecution once out of office.

While in office, they must first be impeached; if the impeachment is successful, they can then be charged with crimes while in office.

  5. Do you have anyone in particular in mind?  Like Bill Clinton?

  6. They haven't committed any crimes. I know you're refering to Bush and Cheney. However I suppose so but the new president would pardon them.

  7. It's legally possible, but it doesn't really ever happen.  With the notable exception already mentioned about President Nixon's VP.

  8. Yeah.  They're not above the law.  If Cheney rapes and murders a little boy while in office, I don't think there's any legal loophole in charging him for the crime.  That said, I don't think the administration committed any crimes while in office.

  9. No, then every president would be charged.

  10. This seems to be a reference to the Denis Kucinich movement to have Bush impeached.  Pelosi has already said that impeachment proceedings would be "a waste of time" but, Kucinich apparently is planning action to have war crimes charges brought against Bush after he leaves office anyway.  That, too, will be a waste of time and potentially, tax payer dollars.
