  1. There is a camera trick shot that looks like they can but no they just cant be hit hard enough to do it you will see 6 or 7 1 or 2 times a year but not all 9 I have the video of the trick shot but with over 3000 Q&A s I will never find it. It has been removed from the site it was on

  2. Is it possible? Yes? It is highly improbable though so don't place a bet on it. Can you, or Johnny, or myself do it? NO! We have a better chance of winning the Power Ball Lottery two Saturdays in a row than we do of making nine balls on the break.

As to why, there are just two many variables, some of which are,  power and speed of the break, table size, table surface, atmospheric conditions such as the ambient temperature and humidity, condition of the balls, whether the table is level or not, the physics of "throw" when two or more balls make contact, did the player attend a prayer meeting, the size of the pockets versus the size of the balls, the weight of the cue stick, the impact of the break....am I missing anything here Johnny? :)

  3. As opposed to a non-human???

I have never heard of all nine balls being made on the snap.

Buddy Hall told me many years ago that he made seven on the break and knew of one other.

He also went on to say that the cue ball stopped rolling behind the '9' ball blocking a shot on the only other ball on the table. He lost that game. Go figure!

Using a trick-camera you can set up '200' balls and pocket them on the snap. But, like I said, never heard of it being done on the level.

  4. OK not no but hel- no.It just cant be done
