  1. Can I just point out to you that you have posted this question in the Cricket section. I know Y!A throws up some interesting choices to categorise questions in, but this is one of the weirdest.

Anyway, to the question. Firstly, Severe Disablement Allowance is only for those under 65. Secondly, you can no longer make a new claim to Severe Disablement Allowance. To get Severe Disablement Allowance, a person would need to have claimed before April 2001, and have been ill for a 28 week continuous period before April 2001.

Also, if this man is retired, he would probably be eligible for Pension Credit. He may also be able to get Incapacity Benefit if he was ill before reaching state retirement age.

Attendance Allowance is the main disability benefit claimed by the over 65's. To get it, a person must have needed help with personal care because of a physical or mental disability for at least six months.

  2. I don't thin k he cab claim that one because he has retired. There are other benefits but I am sure they are means tested.

In my cynical view the only way to ensure that you get all benefits available is never or rarely to have worked and drink (p**s up the wall)

every penny that has come into your hands. This became clear to me just before my mother died ten years ago

  5. You should ask that ASHISH BHATIA (OZ) on here he was saying weeks back he has blood cancer, how dare he use that to get out of a fight, when really good people are fighting that dreaded disease.

He is man in the mask, among many other accounts, what a low act, if you see him , please report the dog.

I wish you and the person concerned good luck with your future battle.

  6. MCD IS A MORON

why does he put david beckham under every question

  7. What has this got to do with cricket?

  8. Yes he can,if he's not eligable after a medical than he can claim other benefits for health,ie excess stress or depression

  9. yes he will be able to claim but also I think that he has to have only a small amount of savings.

  10. It depends what country you are living in. In Australia he would get some sort of government assistance/pension or such.I am sorry for who has it & hope he recovers.
