  1. No ... a v****a is elastic ...

maybe you are still young, the v****a is a bit tight.

better don't use tampon now, I'm afraid it may hurt you, use sanitary napkin instead,

  2. It appears there are smaller sized tampons in the market. It is also advised you insert the tampons when you have heavy bleeding. This will help you to slide in the tampon easily.

You may visit www.youngwomenshealth.org/tampon.html for A Guide to Using Your First Tampon.

There are many similar sites in the net.

  3. I'm 27 and I need to put a lot of personal lubricant on my tampon or else it hurts sometimes!

  4. Sweetheart, the problem is not your vaginal area.   The vaginal area inside is not too small, however, your hymenic opening is.

This is nothing to be concerned with.   It means that you can only use very small tampons, but remember,  tampons carry certain health risks that pads don't.   One of these risks is called Toxic Shock Syndrome or TSS for short.   This is a very rare but can be fatal reaction to tampons (please visit health related site link below).

Due to this risk, I would wait until 16 before utilizing the tampons.   Also you need to discuss this with your parents and docter as well.

In the meantime, there are different types of pads that can be utilized.  If the pads you are currently using are not working for you, then you might need to try another one.   Try using one called Mini Overnight with Wings during days 1-3.   I know that CVS carries this type of pad.   You may only have to change the pad twice during the day of your heaviest period and the pad is thinner than the bulky ones that you might be using.

    Best of luck honey!

  5. Ok, this will sound gross, but along with squating use your other hand to open up the "lips" to your v****a and guide it in.  Get the smallest brand possible, which are called "slims".  Try maybe getting the area a little wet as well.  A little lubrication will help the process significantly.  Good Luck and tampons aren't that big a deal, you will get the hang of it.  I remember the first one I put in I got it stuck and cried and had to have my mom take it out.  Talk about embarrassing!  Good Luck again, and I hope this helps!

  6. Sounds like you need to relax.  If you're stressing out and trying hard to push it in, your muscles will tense up and make it impossible (and painful) for you to get it in there.  Try getting a "slim fit" tampon.  The applicator should slide in more easily.  You could also try lubing it up with some KY Jelly to help it go in.  Most important, though, is to take deep breaths and relax!

  7. well possibly but i really don't think you should ask this on yahoo answers i would ask you mom about stuff like that...

  8. they do make a slender one, but also make sure you're doing it at an angle, not straight up and down.  it needs to be angled towards your tail bone, and lots of people even have a tilted uterus, like me, and i have to tilt the tampon to the left and back.  so try tilting it slightly to the left or to the right... ya know, just try everything out.

  9. no thats not possible

  10. If your v****a is too small for a tampon then you probably haven't had s*x. You're body probably just isn't used to things going up there. I've found that squatting does NOT make it easier to put in a tampon. Seeing as I've been using tampons for years and years and have also had a baby, I don't have that problem...But my suggestion to you is try and stand up putting one leg up on the toilet then reach down and try to push it in. It'll take a few times to get used to it, and don't be afraid to push it in too far... They can NOT get lost up there. Trust me you will feel much better if they are pushed up far apposed to it being down real low. Good luck hun!! You'll get it... Just keep trying

  11. it's not possible for your v****a to be too small.  you were probably inserting it incorrectly.  if you insert it incorrectly, there is a good chance that you will push it against your cervix.  this will make you think the tampon isn't going in--because your cervix will be blocking it.

to avoid hitting your cervix, make sure you push it in at an angle.  push it in a little, move it around if it won't go further, keep trying.  eventually you will find the angle to avoids your cervix.

  12. You are not alone. I struggled with helping my daughter and she had the exact same difficulties you are having, even with the slenders. In fact, she is still struggling with it. I appreciate all of your responses as I think it will be helpful to my daughter as well. It does hurt and some bodies are really small, so just hang in there. Saying that it is not possible not to get it in is not true.It does hurt and well I would expect that it would if you are not sexually active.

  13. I'm sure it's possible for the v****a to be too "small" and one point in time. Luckily the v****a stretches though.

  14. i felt like that the first time to did you try the slender ones that tampax makes i believe there called juniors. also if your nervous you be contracting your muscles down there so try and breathe

  15. no it cant be too small your properly just tensing up so your muscles are contracting and not letting you push it in. it should just slide in. read the instructions that come in the pack and if your still having trouble try using tampax they come with a special inserting stick that will make it easier for you until you get used to it. it shouldn't hurt at all and when its in properly you shouldn't be able to feel it at all if you can feel it it means you haven't inserted it properly

  16. wait until you are heavy and try again, it needs a slight push on its way

  17. Hi, remember your v****a is designed to expand so that babies can fit down in so definitely don't worry about it being too small!

It's important you only try to insert tampons while you have your period (don't practice when you dont have your period as it will be too dry to go in painlessly).  Try on the first day when your flow is heaviest too.

It may be your hymen is putting up the resistance but this should not be too much of a problem.  Sit on the floor and spread your legs then find the place you put it in with your finger...remember your v****a does not go straight up, it's at an angle so use the digrams that come with a box of tampons to help (or look up a website using google and "how to insert tampons").  Also buy the "mini tampons" which are really small and will be easier to slide in.

It won't hurt but the trick is just finding the angle and easing it in gently and slowly.

If you are still really struggling then I suggest you use your fingers and try sliding one finger into your v****a.  This should give you an idea of how much pressure you will need to push the tampon in and also the direction you should push it in.  When i was young i got really anxious about putting a finger inside me cos i was so convinced it would hurt but it doesn't....and you can even work up to two fingers which will definitely have stretched your hymen enough to get a tampon in!

Hope this didn't sound too gross lol, good luck and once you get the hang of it you will love using tampons! xx

  18. Get the slender/teen ones. Also it's easier if you're relaxed when you put it in. Also make sure you're inserting it at an angle.

  19. its called you are still really tight. it is possible to get it in there, just push it in. you need to stretch out a bit, lol. lets hope your v****a isnt too small for a tampon... cos then its too small for other things too
