yes, it is a common myth that black people can run faster then whites but there was a study that found out that 80% of europeans have the same protein as well as 80% of jamicans have it as well. so the only thing that contributes to faster speed is strength vs your own weight. the only explanation for whites not officially running inder 10 secs in that they believe that they cant run under 10 secs but there was a russian named vicktor bryzgin who ran into a head wind of 2.5 and recorded a time of 10.03 meaning he possibly could have ran 9.87...

Remember Usain Bolt is very tall.  6'4" I think.  I think a 6'4" white guy with the same build as Bolt could be just as fast.  Once a 6'4" man gets going, his stride takes over.  If you noticed in the 100 meter finals many competitors were with Bolt until about 50-60 meters.  His stride is ginormous once he gets to top speed.

In the 100 m races, it's possible, but not likely. Africans have a fast-twitch reflex, which gives them an advantage in shorter races. That's why most runners in that race aren't white. Caucasians have a slow-twitch reflex, so they do better in longer races. Anything's possible, though.

maybe u never know the thing that makes black ppl "run faster" is that we have more twitch muscles in our body which gives us the advantage to pump legs and arms very quickly but sooner or later there is going to be someone faster than usain....there will always be someone faster,stronger,smarter so that record is going to be up for i say bout until the 2016 olympics *unless he breaks his again* but someone will break it

Of course they can. It will probably take tons of training and practice  but im sure they can be one person that can be as fast or faster than him.
