Is it possible for adults to get into either ballet or gymnastics?

I'm 19 and I used to do ballet and gymnastics when I was little, but I would like to get back into it. Is it at all possible for me to get into it again? I live in Kansas, so does anyone know?

ballet is a definite because companies hold dance workshop and sessions and classes begginers or advanced begginers all the time. but gymnastic i dont know cuz my sister does it and its pretty cut throat at her age.  however she competes r u planing to compete in gymnastics.

I deffinately know ballet you can join at anytime, they have adult beginner, intermidiate, and advanced classes. If you want to join I suggest you go visit your local dance studios.

yeah.....they have adult classes.....at my studio there in the show too!!!!! lol

yea of course. Gymnastics I'm not sure but ballet defintely. The ballet center I go to has adult classes.

Of course you can!

As long as you keep healthy, build strength & endurance, have good balance, and determination, it's never too late to start again, especially if you've taken it before.
