  1. Possible but that is a major disadvantage.  Like baseball, gymnastics deals with the fundamentals being built in to the athlete.  It is no coincidence that gymnasts start at a very young age.  But truthfully, anything is possible but a late start doesn't help.

  2. I wish im 13 started gymnastics a few years ago and its gonna b really hard for me 2 get 2 a hi level. gymnasts peak at 15-18 so theres ur answer but i wish it wasnt true U go prove my answer  wrong u'll b my hero!

  3. it shouldn't matter what other people think. its all in your own head

  4. Possible but not very likely i am afraid. However, I attend an adult gymnastic class which caters for many ages and abilities. Some adults as old as 40 attend and learn to do someraults etc...you could even enter a veterans competition at varied levels...hope I have helped...follow your dreams if you want more help just message me! good luck x

  5. You COULD Become A Good Gymnast, But Probably Not Ever Competition Level Good.

Gymnasts Must Learn The Basics and Build Up To Harder Level Tricks.

I Started Gymnastics At 9 (Which Is Actually Considered Old In The Gymnastics World) and I am Now In Level .  I am 14 Years Old Now.

Being a Successful Gymnast is Based on Natural Talent, Your Own Personal Best, and Becoming in Shape.

So....IF You Work Out ALOT You Could Become In Better Shape.  Then Once You are In Shape You Could Find A Gym That Will Teach Older Gymnasts (MOST Don't) and They Could Help Train You Maybe To Do The Basic Skills: Back Handspring, Cartwheel...

WARNING: Personally I wouldn't Start Gymnastics at 18 B/C If You're Going To Do The Training Required To Be a "Good" Gymnast It Will Take SOOOO Much Of Your Time.  I am 14, and I Hardly Have a Life! LOL I Practice 4 Hours a Day!

So, If You Really Feel This Is Your Passion, Then Go For It!

    Good Luck =)

  6. Yes but dont set unrealistic goals. If you take an hour long class once a week then you wont improve very fast. The older you get the harder it is to learn gymnastics. You have to stretch everyday and become more flexible and also go to multiple classes throughout the week. Gymnastics is all about how much time you put into it.

  7. im going to be honest.

i started gymnastics when i was little went through with it until i was in 7th grade.

    so in all honesty.

    it is possible but unlikely.

if your gonna take this on you need to work really hard,

im talking 3-4 hours every day!

if you want to be serious.

    get a coach.

    and work on it everyday.

let him/her know your goals and they will help you with them.

    i hope everything works out.

    =]

    best of luck.

  8. Are you kidding me - you are just a baby - I didn't even go to engineering school until I was 32. You can become a gymnast AND a doctor if you wanted to.

  9. Anything ois possible, if you put yur mind to it and work hard, You can do it, But its gona take hard work, but its possible and don't let anyone tell you,you can't...
