I'm rephrasing my question since I asked for events instead sports which was a big mistake. Are there any athletes who participate in more the one olympic sport, if yes, please give reference

  1. i think one sport is enough for one athlete.

  2. They can participate in more than one events for athletics, like running and jumping at the same time, at least I think so lol.

  3. i suppose they could, if they could be competitive enough in both, however to reach the olympic level in a sport your body has to be trained for the sport specifically, and to be competitive in 2 sports at that high of a level in my opinion is pretty much impossible, just look at how many college athletes are only doing 1 sport now

Although if someone has done it before i wouldn't mind hearing about it

  4. Multiple events?  yes, absolutely. Many track runners, and Swimmers compete in multiple events per olympic games.

I don't know of any instances where an athlete competed in multiple sports, but there's nothing, I know of, stopping someone from doing so.  The only hindrance to an athlete's ability to compete in multiple events/sports, is scheduling conflicts, since they need to be available for each competition.

  5. Doubt it, it will so hard to train for one, who do they have time for another sport?
