My family has never used our attic and we have lived in our house for 3 years. Can bees nest in there? I need to know because I want to start using my attic!

  1. Yes for sure they can all nest there especially if no one is ever up there to keep an eye on things.  If you start using the attic and are up there regularly, you can keep the wasp population down to a dull roar by spraying them before they get a permanent residence certificate

  2. If there's some way for them to get into and back out of your attic, then yes they can nest there.  I wouldn't worry about it unless I saw a lot of bees hanging around the roof, though.

  3. yea!!!

  4. Wasps may(hornets too) depends on how hot it gets up there and how much access they have to the outside.  They hve to forage for food.     If the attic is not insulated, and you get snow in the winter, the bugs die.

  5. wasps  bees   hornets   birds   raccoons  owls  pretty  much   anything  can  nest  in an attic

but   bees  prefer  walls  or  hollow  trees

    hornets  prefer the  ground

if you want to  use the attic   then  by all means  do so

animals  wont  stay there   if you  are  using the space ...

but they  may  if you dont
