Is it possible for cole to be todds son on oltl?

i was talking to my mom about it the other day and i was explaining what was going on cause she stopped watching it a few years ago but befor that she watched it a long time. and she was like "i still say cole is todds son"

i dont think its possible i think its more possible for someone new to come to town and say [s]hes todd adn martys kid.

but it does make sence like maybe thats why todd and marty were so against the relationship between cole and starr

NO! Techincally Cole should be years younger than Starr as Marty and Patrick left Llanview when Starr was 2 or 3 and they had yet to start a family, Marty never left Llanview in the months following her rape and she was never pregnant. She was always in town for years after that so it would have been impossible for Todd to be the father and besides that 2 other guys raped Marty that same night so if there was a child it would have had 3 possible fathers.

I really hope not!  That would mean Starr and Cole's baby is the result of incest, which would make a show that has already gotten pretty twisted - really twisted.  I think that clear incest is one taboo that the powers that be would not want to touch.

That said, anything seems to be possible in Llanview.

It's not possible. Cole wasn't born till years after the rape, Patrick is his father.

There is NO way Cole is Todd's.  Todd raped Marty WAY before she conceived Cole with Patrick.  Marty wasn't even preggers when she left the show.

And your mom is whacked if the think a daytime network soap would do an incest story like that.

Eww no...When last seen on OLTL, Patrick and a pregnant Marty were heading to Ireland to live, hopefully out of danger since almost everyone believes that Patrick is dead.

That would be just gross.  The rape happened long before Cole was conceived.  And since Cole has slept with Todd's daughter, I sure hope not!

I don't think so. I don't think that the writers would have allowed things to develop the way they did between Cole and Starr if they were planning for Cole to be Todd's son. They would have so many people get on them for morals and decency and such. A few years ago on Y&R the writers ended the relationship between Victoria and Neil because some people who watched the show didn't like the idea of an interacial couple. In my mind they were wrong to end that relationship, but they were getting so much hassel about it they ended it to make things easier. I don't think people who watch OLTL would like Cole to be Todd's son and they would let the show know. The reason that Todd and Marty were against the relationship between Cole and Starr is that Marty and Todd hate each other.

that would be a HUGE mistake and the writers would be asking the longtime viewers to have a HUGE leap of faith to believe that.  i agree with you on that it would be more believeable to have someone new come forward and be marty and todd's child, but i hope not.
