  1. Yes, it is. Depends on your eyes and what kind of lenses they use for the glasses or the contacts. My rx was the same for glasses and contacts when I wore them.

    I thought it was odd, but I asked my optometrist and he told me that it's different for everyone.


  2. no.  it's basically the same, but they add a measurement to fit the lens to your eye.

  3. The prescription will only be the same if the Sphere power is no greater than +/- 4.25...and there is no more than a 0.25 cylinder.

    I already answered your question in your first post about this.

    Believe me, I know what I'm talking about.

    From - 4.50 to - 4.75 , a 0.25 has to be taken off the contacts...

    From - 5.00 to - 7.00 , a 0.50 has to be taken off,

    and that increases as the power goes up.

    I know you are at -5.25 and - 5.75 for glasses , so 0.50 has to be taken off to make it right.
