I recently had a miscarrige but have gotten my first period since already. The first day of my cycle was July 13th my periods usually last 3-4 days there will be a regular flow the first couple days then just a light light spotting the last couple. Well this last one was another story it wasnt over untill the 18th and i bled I think like 4 days then had a not so light (but not as heavy as the flow) spotting! So that right there is telling me my cycles have changed right? Would that move ovulation later in the cycle? I am asking this becasue before the miscarriage happend I had a 32 day cycle and would test for ovulation get a positive reading the 12th day in every time.. then 20 days later when I wasn't pregnant AF came. Well I am in day 14 of my cycle and have been testing for ovulation since cycle day 7 and have gotten negitives every time..I know that its only 2 days later but my cycles are like clock work! So is it possible that my cycles changed to like 38-40 days

  1. It could be that your body is still trying to get back on track since the miscarriage. Sometimes it can take a few months to get back to normal.

If it's not within a few months, then yes, your cycle can change. I had perfect cycles and then I had a miscarriage. After the miscarriage my cycles varied in length each month, and I had LPD. So yes, it can change.

  2. Some times it can i had a miscarriage on April The 20Th at 9 weeks my period is always on The 20th of the month,i had a period on may the 8th,
