Question:

Is it possible for eyes to change colour over time?

My mom has light blue eyes (same with my brother) and my dad has dark hazelish greenish eyes. My dad's original eye colour when he was my age was dark brown though. Is it likely my eye colour will fade like his? Is it even possible for this to happen? Also, if it makes any difference, the majority of my family has blue or hazel eyes.

  1. i doubt it. my dads is same color as your dads, and my mothers is chocolate brown, and mine always stayed bright blue, so really, I'm not entirely  sure.

  2. its either genetically or the types of food that you eat over the time might eventually contribute to the changing of eyes color.

  3. i would say it kinda depends. when your a baby, your pretty much healthy as can be... so your eyes are really bright.. but overtime your eyes can darken, and the color tends to dull. also some peoples eye color changes with what they are wearing. so yeah, i think its pretty possible.
