Attention all Facebook members.

Facebook is recently becoming very overpopulated.

There have been many members complaining that Facebook

is becoming very slow. Record shows that the reason is

that there are too many non-active Facebook members

and too many new Facebook members.

We will be sending this messages around to see if the

members are active or not. If you're active please send

to 15 other users using Copy+Paste to show that you are active.

Those who do not send this message within 2 weeks will be deleted without hesitation to create more space.

If Facebook is still overpopulated we will kindly ask for donations, but until then send this message to all your friends.

  1. It's a load of rubbish

I got one exactly the same as this once, but it was for msn.

All they did was change the msn to facebook. Ignore it :)

  2. that's been going around for a while - and it's a complete scam.

It is possible for the servers to crash - just as it is for any server on any network, but it won't be because of too many in-active members - they take up memory and database space but don't affect the server performance.

Facebook won't be written in either Java or C++ as both are programming languages, not web-scripting languages, although some of the apps might be written using java. The site itself will be written in HTML, or similar basic script, with PHP, java-script, ASP and other scripting used as needed.

  3. It COULD crash, but it is severely unlikely.

It wouldn't have any C++ in there, as that is for making applications like MSN, Games, Firefox ect, not websites.

It'd be Java, MySQL, PHP, HTML, Ajax and other internet codes.

  4. yea what ever. i hate chain letters so much

  5. yep that message is a load of s***

  6. Well for one,you are right,its fake.

And no,i dont believe that it can be crashed, because it is built to be able to suport as many profiles as like infinity.

Its almost like those websites that you have to sign up for, well millions of people do it a day,and those websites still function perfectly.

And look at myspace, its been around for like 3 years, and it never crashed the site.

Also I think Facebook uses java, but there could be some c++ in some of the parts of facebook.
