Is it possible for ghosts of animals to take on human form?

Right after a peculiar dream involving the death of my grandmother (my grandmother only died in my dream; she is still alive), I awoke and saw a ghost sitting on a chair in my room. My dog, Hershey, died about two weeks ago, and I'm wondering if it could be his spirit. If it is, does this mean I won't be able to talk to it?

  1. there are two different kinds of paranormals.

one is residual haunting which is like the ghost is there but doesnt know see you, or know your there. its like a broken record playing over and over again at certain times.

& there is intelligent hauntings, which is where the ghost knows your there and kinda has a brain, so to speak.

usually ghosts arent there to hurt you, there lonely.

    or they want to communicate.

go ahead and talk to it.

if it gets angry, you just say in a stern voice.

i dont like you here, you need to leave now.

haha i watch alot of paranomal activity shows. =]

  2. If you believe in ghosts, why not believe in everything ghostly?  It seems like if you're in for a penny, you're in for a pound.

  3. don't talk to it anyway...maybe something bad could happen....possiblity

  4. It is possible, since it is like how ghost stories were back in the day (and which some to most may still be).  I believe in all life having a spirit- if there is an afterworld, why not use life after death to sustain it?  Also, it is a sign of respect for how life served the planet.  I hope no one is selfish around here...

If there isn't a world after death, then the question of ghosts linger...but the possibility of them doesn't die.

In Japanese folklore there were animal spirits that could change into a human form.  So since it is told as a story, like ghosts started, it's possible that they are able to do that if all life have spirits.

  5. im sorry but i dont believe such a thing as animals taking into the form of humans happening. i do believe animals have a spirit though :)

  6. if your dog belives in budissim there is a thing called dharma if u hav a good like and die u will be reincarnated into a human if u did lots of bad thing in ur like u can become and cnimal :D

  7. NOPE

  8. You seriously saw a spirit? And your so d**n calm about ti?

Wow!!! I wouldn't have been able to speak for a whole month if I saw a  spirit or anything close to it. I pray that I don't. If you really loved you dog then it probably is his spirit, and I've never heard of spirits talking.

  9. No once human always human, once animal always animal.

  10. The ghosts of animals I have seen looked like animals. Our donkey died last year and my wife and I both saw him at different times, walked right a cross our living room!

  12. Once you decide you're going to believe in magical things like ghosts there are no rules.  So sure, a dog ghost can become a human ghost and vice versa.

Or it could just be a dream.

  13. animals stay animals, but people's souls can shapeshift to animals for a short period of time.

You may have saw your own spirit guide, letting you know-"yes, there is another Side. where your dog is safe."

  14. I actually had a family member who says that she was possessed by a ghost, and a whole bunch of peopel in my family state the same thing so I guess it could happen.  Btw I do believe that ghosts are real.

  15. if your dog came back as a spirit he would be dog shaped.

  16. If you believe in ghosts in the first place, then why not believe in that?

Personally I don't believe in ghosts.

  17. Dog spirits know they are not allowed on the furniture.

  18. not possible.

  19. Why should a ghost have any form at all?  Legs are meant for locomotion, hands for grasping, mouth for eating, a head to hold the brain, a p***s for s*x etc.  A ghost does not need any of these things.  If ghosts do exist and they do take on humanoid forms, then it is only because that is the form that they want to project.  If your dog died then it is quite possible that he wanted to project himself as he always wanted to be which in this case might be human.

  20. No, I would imagine that the only thing that would change form would be of an evil nature for the soul purpose of deception. So no.
