  1. To some point, an extreme one at that...our immortal self(the soul) has a coporeal element that identifies us with God, an' it is eternal. It is this that makes us in the likeness an' image of God.

Unfortunately we live in a world(earth) of finites, and the universe is a great vast knowledge fathomed by eternally ventured thoughts. Thoughts that we could only achieve if our capacities of body are diminished an' for a there after life: achieve all knowledge.

Here, now, in our limited faculties, we but proceed in futile gestures to attain all( the universe) knowledge and never quite reach it.

The concept of such thought though...it may confine all knowledge...when we ask the question,"is it possible for humans to know all knowledge..." and not define what all knowledge is. Then all knowlegde could be fathomed temporarily, if the diction is that humans cannot know all knowledge...Hence saying, "for we realise that all knowledge is unfathomable, we provide the attempt to investigate on this, and consequentially agreed that the task too great, we define it - brand it -unfathomable." It is fathomed for that brief adventure.

  2. No, knowledge is infinite. Our minds cannot learn everything. You can always ask and seek more and more. It never ends for us. Only God has infinite knowledge.

  3. No, not in this life at least.

  4. We don't even know a tenth of what is happening in our lives, how do we wan t to know everything. Information only travels at light speed and then has to get processed. By the time processing begins, hings have changed.

  5. i really dont think that it is possible for someone to know everything maybe alot of things but  not everything

  6. I hope not.

What's the point of living after that?

  7. I think the human mind can handle an incredible amount of knowledge, but I don't think we'll ever know everything there is to know. I believe that because our world evolves constantly, there will never be an end to how much knowledge one can gain. Life itself is one huge learning process. You don't stop learning till you die.

  8. No, I don't believe so. It would be in all the books and news stations.Believe me...we would know who it was. They would be a world wide , household name. Bigger than Bill Gates or

George Washington..we would all know  who.

But of course, there are plenty of people that think they know it all.

  9. According to oriental philosophy, knowledge can be divided in to two categories. One is "para Vidya" and another is "Apara Vidya". These are related to mundane matter and spiritual knowledge. Ancient saint and sages declared through "Vedas" ( ancient scriptures) about spiritual knowledge, " Knowing What, Everything Else Is Known".

  10. Never will !

Human cannot understand oneself totally, how can we know all the knowledge there is to know?

  11. What we are capable of has limits. Our lifespan has a limit, therefore we are only as capable of soaking up as much knowledge as our lifespan, and our desire and motivation permits. There are so many forms of knowledge--intuitive knowledge, experiential knowledge, book knowledge--but those sources are boundless--no matter how much time you have, you could never learn everything there is to know even in one field of study, let alone all fields. You must also take into account the knowledge that is yet to be known--by anyone--theories which have yet to be proven, and theories, which have yet to become theories even.

  12. one thing thats not possible.well  to b more philosphical  hmmm..  knowledge is like an vast ocean  for us but its actual size can only be measured as  never ending universe. when we uncover someething another comes.like it will go on and on and we die but the knowledge we acquired will b pass to next generation  and it go on like that.

well to make us feel better i think our life span is not enough for us to uncover all the knowledge

  13. Jim the Fee, here

I took-a-peek at two responses that are already in and found

    what i expected.

My own answer is contingent on some major premises.  (1)

new knowledge will continue to be "dumped" into the mix by the simple action of more people looking into various aspects of our thinking-lives, (2) the human brain has enormous capacity to accepting new information, process it,

categorize it and store it, (3) computer improvements are

constantly bringing greater capacities to mirror the human mind and will contribute to human learning of new "spins" on the information, (4) We will probably never know if there are limits to the human mind to process and use information (new, old, and revised), and (5) (this one you may trouble in

fitting it into this question) even after the human body and its

brain have 'died' the knowledge that the individual has already stored is not lost - rather, the essence (soul, spirit,

spark of God) that is "us" goes back to the central pool

(heaven to the Christian) to stay awhile with the Super Being that started the who thing going; but will or will not choose to return again to Earth Plane - i.e. reincarnate. [ Do you see why this 5th premise is hard to accept?!?]

    Cheers,

    Jim the Fee

  14. it isn't necessary for all humans to know all the knowledge but for the whole human community all the knowledge there is to know can be known.

And after that as each human intermingles with the society he makes a balanced input output- that seems to be the target purpose mission ha ha ha
