  1. anything is possible chris

  2. you can do anything you want if you set your mind to it.

corny i know, right? but very true. if you have the passion, and the commitment then going pro is right for you.

but if it it just because you thinks it's fun, then play it for fun, no rush to go pro right?

if you wake up in the morning and think about tennis, then your heart is in the right place. because you have a good expeirience and have built many skills, you seem like you can definatly go there.

now its time for the determination drive:  [:

practice, practice! even the best tennis players have room for improvement!

keep in shape! eat healthily, get a good amounts of sleep and stay active. taking runs every morning will help.

    build your skills:

practice your hand swings ageinst a wall, or challenge your friends to a game in your free time. join a camp to help you with skill building and practicing. watch the pros on tv and pick up some tricks.

    believe in yourself:

don't let people bring you down EVERR :D

you have a great history with being successful when it comes to tennis, so definatly go for it! do what you like,, and like what you do! be open for tips and things to work on, use them to help you, not bring you down! have faith in yourself because you CAN do it!

I tell people that i am going to be famous. not only that but i will be a great role model for kids. i want to be like oprah, constantly helping people, and giving. i want to write and sing songs with inspiring lyrics and i want to change the world. people tell me the chances are low, i cannot do that, i am only a kid. but i am a kid with big dreams and i wont stop dreaming until it becomes reality. do me a favor, and do the same thing! I won't stop working for my dream if you dont stop working for yours. is that a deal buddy?(: hhaha

don't forget me when your famous, send me an autograph!

  3. There is a small chance you could turn pro. but you have no tournament experience at all, highschool tennis is not as nearly competitive as it is in the tournaments for young, serious junior players. I am 13 and it is also my dream to become a pro. i play at least 6 hours a week and i try to play in as many tournaments as possible. its a lot harder than you think, but keep dreaming and good luck! =)

  4. Thats really good well done! Keep on going with tennis and you will see I guess. No ones the answer to this question. But yes ut is possible!

  5. If it is what you want to do you can become one and if you don't play in the top tournaments and stuff like that you can work at a health club and be a tennis instructor.  I learned how to play tennis from a tennis pro and it was one of the best experiences in my life.  So, if you like to teach you could even become a coach at a High School.

  6. You either need loads of experience our a mountain of talent. I've seen it happen (late bloomers) in other sports. They never become 'top pros' though. You also need a coach and crew that will stick to you like glue.

If your game has developed as fast as you say, you might be able to win a bit.

...but to live off your game you need to be monumentally good. Those sorts of people start so early they almost have tennis in their blood at birth.

  7. always ,don't give up,good-luck

  8. Almost impossible, even the world's top junior players have difficulty adjusting to the pro game and often have difficulty making a living on the circuit.  See if you can get a tennis scholarship or maybe walk on to a good program with excellent coaching.  I would focus more on that and your education instead of an unrealistic possibility of being a pro.  If you bloom and you become one of the top players in all of college you might have a chance to be a pro and then will likely have to play challengers to see if you can make it.

  9. hey play on a college team and go from there

  10. Wow !  I love your attitude. According to the tennis pro statistics, no.  I like people to prove the statistics wrong. To become a pro, you've got to start taking a serious coaching.

See what the coach says. College is a safe bet, but I'm hearing that you don't want to waste 4 years ? Life is full of surprises. Take a chance while you are still very young.

    And enjoy the youth.

  11. Yes

  12. No.

  13. You have little or no chance.  Better yet, let's just say you have no chance, whatsoever, of ever being a pro tennis player.

The pros are groomed from about age 10 on.  These pros are monsters, you hear.  Monsters!  They are so damned good that they would chew you up in a second, and stomp on your remains.  You'd have to have been #1 in your state for the last 6 years running, and your state would have to be California or Texas, for a chance.  Then, you have to deal with the rest of the world's players, too!

Give it up.  Play for fun.  Play for the sport.  Get a good degree, and enjoy your life.  Watch those monsters on T.V.

  14. If you want to be pro, then of course you can! You just have to make sure that you get into the right activities like take lessons and join tennis clubs and stuff. Then you can make connections with all of the right people! I'm sure if you put everything into this and dedicate a lot of your free time to making sure that you can accomplish this, then there is absolutely nothing stopping you! But don't give up or be discouraged by what other people say either, if you want it then that's all that matters and you will be pro one day :) Maybe I'll see you on tv at Wimbledon one day and be able to say I gave that guy some advice ;) haha. Good luck Chris!!

    Cheers :)

  15. You could probably do it. Most tennis players start at age 4 and get trained at age 9-10. You're pretty good for a semi-starter, so I could only imagine how good you will be after you do some more training. I wouldn't bet on you becoming number one, though.

  16. i dont play tennis but i am not talented but it is my dream too to become a pro,

I think its the likes of us that deserve to be great because we try hard and dream

even though everyone says to me that it wont come true

you have to keep dreaming and training hard

keep your options open but be focused on your real dream

    you never know :)

  17. Well sense you've only been playing for a year and your better then someones who has been playing sense he was 11. Theres a good chance. Keep playing!
