Is it possible for me to become a mexican citizen if....?

Well both my parents are mexican, they where both born there, so is it possible for me to become a mexican citizen if they are both mexican citizens? and my dad is also an american citizen

  1. If you're son of Mexican Citizens you're a citizen.

First two answers are both wrong.  You certainly may become a Mexican citizen, but is is not automatic.  You need to go to the nearest Mexican consulate with proof of your parents citizenship...their birth certificates, and apply for your citizenship.  I have a friend whose mother was born in Mexico, but he was born in the U.S.  He applied at the nearest consulate and got his Mexican citizenship and passport.   See site below for list of Mexican consulates in the U.S.

  3. nope, ur gonna have to get a Mexican Visa, and live there for some gew years before u get u become a official Mexican Resident. its the same with any latin-american country besides El Salvador.
