yes one company that you can take a look at is Logitech the Z550 model is the best for using with both your PS3 and PC!!

but for a real home theater experience, get a  realhome theater set designed for movies such as SOny, Denon, Onkyo etc....

Sure. If your considering a pre-fab system like the sony and toshiba kind at wal-mart or best buy, make sure it has at least two hdmi in ports/ same with component and optical audio. I would also make sure that it is hdmusic ready and can process 1080p thru its processor. I can help you with some steps when you purchase. Samsung pre-fab $ 300. Best bet. Very Best seperate reciever
