Question:

Is it possible for me to get from 270lbs down to 123lbs?

My sister and friends tells me it is not due to my large bone structure. They said 150 - 180 would be more ideal for me. I want to get to 123lbs. I am 5ft 8. Is it possible?

Yes it is.  First check with your doctor and get a complete physical to determine why it is that you may be gaining weight in the first place.  Then if everything is okay eliminate the cakes, cookies, cheeses, and fried foods first.  We all know that those things are taboo for anyone.  Then let your doctor prescribe a diet for you and go for it!     or if your still unhappy try getting down to 150

  3. No that's a HUGE jump. My friend is going to get stomach surgury and she weighs 320lb. Her ideal weight is going to be 180lb, but that is estimated over a year a half.

    I think 123 is really small especially for someone who is as tall as you. I am 5ft. 3, and weigh 110. You are 5 inches taller. I would go for more of an idealistic approach like the 150-180. Once you are there you can see for yourself if you are happy with what you look. But have a realistic goal at first. Good luck!

  4. Of course it is with sensible dieting and exercise. But won't happen just like that it might even take a few years, but it will be worth it. However I feel you should take a your height in consideration. Why don't you see your doctor, or check online for a BMI chart.

  5. 123 lbs mm  more like 150 to 160 is not a bad  goal  first thing is change of life styles  no more sweets ,pops, stop all junk food learn to eat the right way !  first step is speak to your doctor never start a diet with out the doctor  say so then he or she could start you on a healthy  life choose  of losing weight don't do it fast  do it slow and take your time .
