Is it possible for me to start balding at 18?

Question

Every time I wash my hear a lot falls out although I've heard thats normal...

but today someone told me I have this bald spot...is this normal?

Dad/grandfather/uncles on dad side are not bald...

only bald relatives are 2 of my uncles on my mom's side...

It is possible, seeing as how some people say and believe that your hair traits come from your mother's side. I have a cousin who is 21 and nearly bald, he was receding when we were teenagers. But it may not be traits, it could be caused by stress or a certain malnutrition. Poor diet has been known to cause hair loss.

Whoever told you that is retarded. Thats your part. Everybody has that. Some peoples are bigger than others. But yours is normal sized.

It certainly can be, it is determined by your "genes" which by the way can be from either your father or mothers side and sometimes 2 or 3 generations back. Some Men start at 18, some at 25.

The old wives tale that you are only bald from "genes" from your mothers side is not valid.  That has been disproved with the advent of DNA testing.



Remember 30% of men are bald and that has absolutely no affect on their success in this life in any endeavor.

it is possible...like its also possible to get gray hairs...
