Of course...all  depends on the  mental will of the person that get hypnotized....some individuals have such stron mental will to resist on the ritual and no matter what they can't get hypnotized....read my message again again & again you feel sleepy...so sleepy you will take the plane to USA   someday and come to USA to meet me....read this message again & again...Jesus & OBAMA loves you....read this message again  & again....do you feel sleepy.?...( I olmost fell asleep - I am ready to come to INDIA & meet you!!!!

I believe so.

Outside influences on the brain trigger endorphins that cause the effects one attributes to the influencing agent. It's not the booze, it's the endorphins that the booze triggers. Same with any drug.

Hypnosis can program the subconscious the tell the brain to release endorphins based on an external trigger other than a substance. I have personally experienced this effect when working with a hypnotist.
