Is it possible for someone to remotely take over your computer through the internet?

You know how a service tech at work or something can take over your console and do whatever they want from another location or something like that, couldn't someone do that to anyone's computer if they wanted?

there are a number of packages available to do this, windows even has one build in called remote desktop control, but this is only possible if your computer is not adequately protected, read more at the link below and how to protect it.

they even have a test you can run to check your security.

I use "logmein"  https://secure.logmein.com/home.asp?lang... and teamviewer .Teamviewer is easier and you don't need registration http://www.teamviewer.com/index.aspx  They are both free

yes i had my browser hijacked a year ago by a program called winantivirus i had to reinstall my windows its not hard for someone to still files and just take your computer with out even touching it if you think this is happening contact microsoft and start asking questions
